The public comment period for Rule 16.1 for multidistrict litigation (MDL) closes on February 16, 2024. Among the attorneys who testified before the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules on January 16, 2024 was Jose Rojas of Levin, Rojas, Camassar & Reck LLC, the first law firm in the U.S. to file a lawsuit against baby formula manufacturers alleging that the baby formula caused Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) in preterm infants.
